IRWA conference in Austin

We just got back from a conference in Austin. It was so much fun. I worked an auction displaying the items...it was a country theme! Darrell and I were also recognized for obtaining our SR/WA (Senior Right of Way Agent Designation). The conference is a huge deal. People from all over the country, Canada and even Japan. Next year it's in Indianpolis. Yee Haw!

Time with the family in NH

Darrell and I took the boys on a little family vacation to New Hampshire to see my parents and family. The weather was unseasonably hot, which we are used to, but it was difficult at night with no air conditioner in the house. We went to Laurie's for a cookout on Sunday. She and Mike live on top of a mountain and it is absolutely gorgeous.

We all went to Cascade Falls in Berlin Maine and Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.

We visited Kennebunkport Maine and saw the Bush vacation home.

And, we visited Old Orchard Beach and saw the first place we lived when we moved to Maine 10 years ago this year!!!!

Hannah's Birthday weekend with me!

Hannah and I started a tradition a few years ago to spend a weekend together for her birthday. We try to stay in a hotel, but didn't this year, and shop till we drop. We did get the shopping part done...NOT A PROBLEM!!!!!!! I did take lots more pictures but for some reason these are the only two I can find. One is Hannah with her shopping bags and one is with Hannah making flip flops. I will continue to treasure these moments with her b/c I know one day soon she will not have that time for me as she goes through that teenage stage. I do hope that never happens as I love her dearly!!!! Thanks for another great weekend, Hannah.

Memorial Day Decathalon

We had the first annual Memorial Day Game Decathalon with our neighbors across the street, Jack and Sue. We were in teams of 2 and there were six teams. We played darts, putt putt, football throw, croquet, high card, bb gun shooting, water balloon toss, yahtzee, badmitten and free throw. It was a blast and Darrell even made a trophy for the winning team. We all can't wait for next year!

Grandma

Grandma's biopsy was cancelled due to her falling and getting pretty banged up. She slipped on some ant spray that was sprayed on the cabin floor at the family reunion. She twisted her left knee, badly hurt her right arm and shoulder and put a big gash in her forhead about her eyebrow. She is in quite a bit of pain and it is hard for her to get around. Please keep her in your prayers.
