And another round of party pictures

More pictures from the party

Happy 16th Dalton

Dalton had his 16th birthday party on March 15th. We threw him a 70's Disco Party and it was one to be rivaled! As you can see from all the pictures we had the house decorated to the hilt and everyone was in full 70's dress. Everyone danced the night away and played a mean game of Twister. I won't even address how horrible the house was the next day, with the twinkies on the walls and floors and everthing else! But, it was all worth it. He will remember this party forver!

Refuel Mission

Darrell and Kevin went to Houston to participate in a refuel mission at Ellington Field. Even though I think it's the coolest thing ever I could never be as brave as them and actually do it. I am so afraid of flying! They took lots of pictures, a few I've posted, and had lots of stories. This is Darrell's second time but Kevin's first. I'm sure they will gladly do it again in a second if ever asked. Thanks for our brother in law, Hugo, for inviting them!

"I think it's time"

After hitting all those triples Dalton sent Darrell a text saying only, "I think it's time". Well, turns out he thinks it's time for a new bat! Since his birthday is right around the corner, Darrell obliged. Here he is with his bat. It should be golden as much as it cost!!!!

Dalton and baseball

Dalton is our baseball player. He plays for Marcus High School J.V. team, first base. He is on a high right now since hitting quite a few triples in last weekend's tournament. He has had several ideas about what it was that helped him...everything from having $5.00 in his pocket to the way he winds up before batting!

See...temporarily white!

Here's the proof!

Temporarily white

It actually snowed here last night. It was so beautiful watching it come down, with the grass covered in a thin blanket and the rooftops all white. I went to the office for a couple hours and when I came back Kevin was sitting in the front yard having just finished a snow angel. He had also made a family of snowmen and two snow dogs. This was around 9:30pm so it was a little dark out but we could still see it and enjoy it! When Darrell got home around 10pm he took Kevin out and took some pictures. I'll put them up when they are downloaded. Of course, being Texas, the snow is almost gone already. It is supposed to be in the 50's today. As pretty as it can be, I'm so glad it's only for a brief moment in time. Gotta love these Texas winters!!!! Bring on the heat, baby!
